Things won’t always turn out the way I want it to. If you always think about the “glass being half full” and always expect a positive outcome, you’ll only set yourself up for disappointment once the time comes when conflicts arise. At least with the “half empty” mentality, you already expected it, and therefore, will be much more motivated to start over and learn from your mistakes. Remember, there is such a thing as being overly confident. But there’s nothing wrong with being overly prepared.
